Numa Amsterdam Oosterpark
About
Numa Amsterdam Oosterpark lies in the nook of the city’s oldest public park: Oosterpark. With its flourishing greenery and peaceful surroundings, it’s difficult to resist paying it a proper visit while staying in the neighbourhood—despite the city center and all the majestic touristic attractions such as Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank’s House, or Van Gogh Museum being just a short tram ride away. The neighbourhood brims over with natural, cultural, shopping and dining possibilities. The Artis Zoo and Botanical Gardens are just a short walk away, after which you might want to visit Tropenmuseum to learn about intriguing details of Dutch colonial history. Wandering through the streets, it’s impossible to pass by a specialty coffee place, such as Rum Baba, or treat yourself with delicious lunch at the famous, local Dappermarkt. And what’s a better way to end the afternoon than cruising some of the local vintage shops? Please note that the rooms are only accessible by stairs.
