Brewery Poesiat & Kater is an local brewery in the eastern part of Amsterdam. There are two brands available at the brewery. Our own and experimental Poesiat & Kater brand and the famous and traditional Van Vollenhoven & co brand. The brewery is located at the brewpub. If you are lucky you can see the brewing of your beers live. When the beer is ready for consumption we pump the beers in one of our seven 1000 liter tanks above the bar. The beer never gets warm because there is no transport of the beer. That means that the taste of the beer will never get more fresh then our servings Not only our beers are an reason for visiting. We also serve a fine menu with little snacks and some surprising diner options. We pair the food that we serve with our beers. En we hope to surprise you with our suggestions. Beer goes well with snacks. So we serve al lot of these. Our brewery is located in an old building from the 19th century. It has high seilings and big windows. In the winter you can sit in front of a little fire place and there is an big terras with al lot of sun in the summer. You can visit us for brunch, snacks & drinks, and ofcourse for dinner. Individuels and groups are all welcome.
