The Café, situated in the Rijksmuseum’s atrium above the museum shop, offers a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy coffee, tea, pastries, and a full lunch menu. Visitors can indulge in classic Dutch favourites such as bitterballen, alongside a variety of soups, sandwiches and salads. A popular choice is the ‘Still Life’ menu, which features a seasonal pumpkin soup, rye bread with farmer’s Gouda cheese, and fresh fruit for €15.50. For a quick pick‑up, the café also hosts an espresso bar in the garden house (summer only) and a shop‑side espresso bar near the museum’s staircase.
