Imagine a place 30 minutes from Amsterdam in a beautiful National Park. The beach is only a 5 minute walk and you can surf, kite, go longboarding or just read a book in a hammock. You are free to do whatever you want. In the morning you wake up to enjoy some coffee and a delicious breakfast. After that you walk over the dune and take part in a surf or kitesurf lesson. After the lesson you practise a bit more or just hangout with your fellow surfers. When the sun sets you can decide to visit a beachclub to enjoy some funky tunes, chill out at the camp or hit it hard in Amsterdam or Haarlem. Does this place exist? Damn sure!! Since 2011 the top campsite 'De Lakens' gives us (a bunch of free minded surfers) the opportunity to build our own litlle paradise.
