The Old Man has been around since 1988 as one of the most eccentric and possibly smallest department store in Amsterdam, featuring a wide range of interests. The store is located in the oldest part of the city and in itself is an interesting labyrinth to discover. Primarily as THE destination for boardsports enthusiasts (snowboard, surf and skate), for smoke supplies fans, and lovers of specialty outdoor tools and knives. The store features a gallery of vintage snowboards and the helpful staff is always willing to highlight the history of snowboarding through a myriad of product inventions from the '80s until now. The store also features a specialty knive and outdoor store with a unique and one of a kind offering, and is the home base to the oldest smoke supplies store in Amsterdam. A true family destination with something interesting for everyone.
