Tropico was born with the intention of providing the Latin, Dutch, and worldwide community in Amsterdam with a space where they could taste all the tropical flavors of Latin America. The Rodriguez family, who have been living in Amsterdam for many years, wanted to share the joy and warmth of their native Colombia with the community, so they decided to open a restaurant where traditional Colombian food and a tropical atmosphere could be enjoyed to the fullest. Additionally, one of their strong points is customer service, so they combined the authenticity of traditional food with excellent customer service to ensure that everyone felt at home. In summary, Tropico emerged to offer a unique culinary and cultural experience in Amsterdam and to be a place where the community can enjoy the food and the warm, tropical atmosphere of Colombia.
