Welcome to the Warung Sranang Makmur website. At the end of the 70s after migrating from Surinam (South-America) we settled in Amsterdam, then Warung Utomo. After having lived in Indonesia for a number of years, we settled in Amsterdam again and in 1993 Warung Sranang Makmur was founded. To date, cooking is still done according to mother's recipe. Our food is Indonesian and Surinamese.
