At Zoet & Hartig there is enough to find for both the sweet tooth and those in favour of the savoury stuff. Well known for the yummie cakes as high as you never find them elsewhere, they also sell typical local specialty fruit pastries (called "vlaai") from the province of Limburg in the south of the Netherlands, as well as luxurious little chocolates with all kinds of flavours. In the wintertime this shop with its warm wooden interior is a coming and going for lovers of hot chocolate. Almost 60 flavours are captured in the typical chocolate spoon that you dip into a mug of hot milk, that makes the perfect hot choco to your taste. Besides from a (you choose) sweet or savoury breakfast that is served all day long, during lunch hour you can enjoy scrambled or fried eggs or very large ommelettes. Or what do you think of a pancake with banana and cinamon for instance? If you prefer a tuna melt or a pommodori soup, Zoet & Hartig is also the place to be. Please be wellcome, every day from 09.30 until 17.30, on sundays & mondays from 11.00.
