It might sound a bit romantic: one of those inns from the old days where a bed is ready for you, you can sit by the fire with a filled stomach and catch your breath. It still is what we like to offer: a home away from home. That love becomes visible in every sleeping accommodation, firepit, reading corner and hidden seating area. De Helleborus is an eco hostel, mini-camping, food forest and centre for permaculture. It's located in a quaint village only 7 km from the city Groningen. You are most welcome to spend your holiday with us, host a bachelor party, arrange a family weekend or lead a workshop or meeting. We offer a wide variety of options when it comes to the use of sleeping accommodation, food and catering, indoor and outdoor areas and entertainment and relaxation.
