Beautiful nursery and gardens with a relaxed atmosphere. The listed farm is surrounded by approximately 3.5 hectares of land on which we grow the largest collection of edible crops in the Netherlands. We sell them as seeds, seed tubers and seedlings, all certified organic. A visit combines well with the rest of Veenhuizen: our location is part of a large UNESCO World Heritage Site. Opening: Check our website for hours and our activities, as they change seasonally. Usually our shop and gardens are open every weekend afternoon from May to August. Our webshop is of course always open outside our physical opening hours. Guided tours, workshops and lectures are also possible by appointment. Dogs are welcome if kept on a lead. Enough greenery, shade and water for when it gets hot. Wheelchair users: The parking area and shop are paved, but our gardens paths are mostly sturdy grass, so either an electric wheelchair or somebody to push you is advisable.
