The Farmhouse "La Normande." The listed cheese-cover farmhouse at Binnenwijzend was built in 1857. This distinctive property is located in the Grootslag polder just outside Westwoud, a picturesque West Frisian village between the historic towns of Hoorn, Medemblik and Enkhuizen. Your hostess, the French farmer’s daughter Christine Bataille, lives at the front of the house with her family . The former animal quarters at the back have been converted into guest accommodation with a terrace providing a view over fields as far as the eye can see. You get very cosy rooms with each a bathroom. The big livingroom gives has very bride windows letting the light coming in. you can open the doors to the terrace. Also is the accommodation very practice for wheelschairs. One bathroom is also bigger for an easy acces for those wheelchairs. You can have fun inside playing music and dancing all the night. But also you may enjoy all the space allaround, playing soccer, or volley ball or biking and walking.. Come and enjoy the space, the peace and confort.
