Pantropica
About
Pantropica is a sprawling indoor tropical wonderland in Luttelgeest, Netherlands, that lets visitors journey across ten continents in a single day. The park’s meticulously curated zones—Amazonia, Tropica, Antarctica, Africa, and more—feature lush plant life, interactive animal exhibits, and themed playgrounds such as Panavontura. Diners can savour Caribbean-inspired cocktails at the Citrusbar, indulge in Asian fusion at Bistro De Sakura, or enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the Pantropica Bar & Restaurant—all open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Behind the scenes, guests can shop at the Panmarket, a 2,000 m² retail oasis offering souvenirs, orchids, tropical plants, and local artisan products. The park also hosts seasonal celebrations, including the WinterDroom glow-lit event from 1 December to 4 January, complete with ice skating and carol-laced evenings. Since the park operates 364 days a year, your visit can be planned year-round, whether you’re seeking a child-friendly adventure, a family picnic, or a romantic high-tea experience. A 4‑hour excursion typically covers the core attractions and provides enough time to enjoy meals, shop, and explore the wildlife galleries. Online tickets can be purchased from the official booking page, which offers a two‑euro discount for early‑bird bookings.
