What started as out with a wish to be able to bake delicious fresh apple pie every day, eventually resulted in café de Freule. The cosiest place in The Hague’s Fahrenheitstraat! Mattanja Greijskamp and her Freule team have been treating their guests like royalty for over ten years now. Whether you want to catch up with a friend whilst enjoying a home-made pastry over a perfect cup of coffee or want to eat a delicious luxury sandwich for lunch, de Freule takes care of it right down to the last detail. During the evenings you can enjoy a beautifully arranged dinner made by chef Dat-Sjoe Ridderstap. Whether selected from the à la carte menu or the daily changing menu; the fresh local products are prepared into delicious dishes. At night, de Freule is the ideal place to come and have a drink. Every month, the changing new speciality beers are just begging to be tried out.
