Poffertjes are what our company is all about. In order to create Visser’s delicious poffertjes, a lot of attention and care is required. We still beat our batter by hand and we use an 85-year-old recipe. The six ingredients we use are of high quality and are carefully chosen with the help of our suppliers. Frying the poffertjes is still done the old-fashioned way, using a genuine copper plate, right at the front of the restaurant. This plate can get to up to 200 degrees Celsius. To keep the quality of our poffertjes optimal, we only serve five different varieties, which you can find on our menu below. Once the poffertjes are golden-brown and fluffy, we finish them off with a delicious topping and a big lump of full-cream butter.
