Welcome to B&B In de Oude Smederij Zaltbommel! Our cozy B&B is situated in a prime location in the historic heart of Zaltbommel, directly opposite the harbor and river De Waal. The building of B&B In de Oude Smederij is a former workshop of the family owned dredging company Van Hattum & Zn NV, which operated from Zaltbommel until the early 1980s. Built in 1936, we repurposed the original industrial building in 2016 into a contemporary 100% energy-neutral B&B. Our B&B offers you The Loft and Tiny House, two cosy and comfortable tiny apartments with all eases at hand. Several nice restaurants, shops and sights are within walking distance. Enjoy Zaltbommel and explore the beautiful Bommelerwaard, an island between Maas and Waal. Located in the center of the Netherlands, Zaltbommel is also a perfect starting point for trips to Amsterdam, Utrecht, Den Bosch, Rotterdam, Nijmegen, Breda and many other picturesque typical Dutch places, such as Woudrichem and Gorinchem.
