If you wonder where to go, follow the basic traveler’s rule - Do as the locals do. The Van Gogh Bar is “the institution” of the night life of Skopje that has been going on since 1986, a favorite get together spot and a quintessential place for good time featuring a cheerful crowd. The program is a busy one at Van Gogh Bar with live gigs of local rock bands four evenings of the week all through the year, leaving the other three days for a DJ or just quiet chilling. It is a genuinely pleasant if occasionally hectic bar whose longevity is its best recommendation. Weekly program: Monday - Day Off Next Generation (live band) ,Thursday - dj Vito, Friday - Band Off (live band) , Saturday - Pece and the Breakdown Band (live band).
