The exhibits at the Fisheries museum focus on the development of the fishing industry and the manufacturing process. The museum shows how the fishing industry has evolved from 1800th up to today. The museum explains how Alesund became one of the largest exporter of klipfish in Europe. Another exhibition presents the manufacturing of cod-liver oil, displayed in the museum are models and equipment.
