Albatrossen Kaffe is located in a lovely yellow house along the light rail line 1, midway between the stop for Kronstad and Brann Stadium. There used to be a hat shop and a jeweler here, but now the hats have had to give way to coffee and freshly baked buns, cakes and delicious sourdough sandwiches. Albatrossen Kaffe focus on sustainability, healthy ingredients of great quality and local suppliers. Our lunch menu consists of sourdough bread with toppings from local producers and fresh vegetables. Croissants with ham and cheese and Yoghurt with homemade jam and granola. We also have tempting vegan and gluten-free options. . Other products you can buy at Albatrossen Kaffe are coffee beans roasted by Bergen Kaffebrenneri and Straffekaffe from Bjørgvin Prison. You can enjoy the coffee and food either inside the atmospheric premises, with a view of Ulriken, or outdoors in the south-facing garden. The coffee bar is run as an ordinary coffee bar, while at the same time giving people who have challenges with being included and integrated into work - and social life, the opportunity to gain work experience, skills, transition to paid work and assistance to progress in ordinary work. Albatrossen Kaffe is a meeting place for everyone; neighbours, students and for other passers-by. We can also deliver delicious lunches to businesses in the local area.
