Hordamuseet gives an insight into the unique way of life of the people of rural Hordaland. Farming and fishing was not only an occupation, but a way of living. Harvesting nature's bounty was for generations the only way of making a decent living in our county. Interesting collections of traditional houses, boats, tools and textiles. The museum has an open air section with 30 buildings and rich archaeological finds and a boat shelter preserving 26 boats. Beautiful situated close to the Fana Fjord.
