Gain an insight into Flekkefjord's exciting history. The main building dates back to around 1720 and you will experience a civic skipping and trade mans home. The home's interior and furniture is typical of the era dating back to the 17th century with echoes from the 18th and 19th century as well. The wharf side sheds exhibit interesting and exciting art projects throughout the year. This year it is Lars Kristian Gulbrandsen, or Tatjana L.K. Gulbrandsen's paintings that are on display. This artist is one of the most distinctive pictorial atists in the south of Norway. He shaped his life and all things around him into living works of art. The individual, life and art melted together as one entity however it is the visual art that remained the most important. This art is represented in a number of renowned collections and galleries in Norway and abroad.
