Close to the open sea in the county of Sogn and Fjordane you find Bakkevik Brygger. We can offer a great camp with rorbuer, harbour and modern boats, outdoor sitting group and a playground for the children. At the camp you also will find a “lysthus” with outdoor Jacuzzi, sauna, solarium and a living room with a fireplace. The main activity is fishing and for those interested in this there are a lot of good spots for fishing in all kinds of weather. You can catch any of the Norwegian species here. Beside fishing the surroundings offer nice possibilities for hiking in the mountain or swimming at Grotlesanden, which is one of Norway’s finest beaches. At the old and traditional fishing station, Kalvag, you find shops and restaurants in a maritime environment. Bakkevik Brygge is situated in the little hamlet of Bakke, at Novelandet in Bremanger with good fishing and crabbing grounds almost outside the front door. The development has a fish preparation area with access to water, a pontoon for hire boats and a deep-water pier. No less than two breakwaters ensure the harbour provides excellent conditions as a starting point for both fishing activities and canoe paddling. The development is suitable for family holidays. It should also be mentioned that Novelandet is protected from the north wind that can be a problem in other parts of the local area, in summer, in fine weather.
