Tuneheimen Hostel is perfectly located near lakeTunevannet , a 1.2 km walk to down town Sarpsborg. The oldest part of the hostel is made of logs surrounded by tall pine trees , giving the hostel a cozy and warm welcoming look. The hostel is suited not only for young backpackers, but also for guests attending seminars and conferences. There are 96 beds in 27 rooms, all of which have a TV, bathroom w. shower. The hostel also has a lounge, fireplace, TV room, a kitchen intended for use by guests and an dining room. Tuneheimen hostel was awarded Hostel of the year in 1998.
