About
Stein skole was an ordinary school that in the 1930s was decorated by some of Norways up and coming paintors of the time. Many of whom later became famous, such as Dagfin Werenskiold, Per Teigen, Karl Teigen, Reidar Aulie, Birgit Abrahamsen and Ingeborg Refling Hagen. The school was in ordinary use until it became a museum in the 1970s. It is spectacular, and is by many known as The Fairytale School.
