Herregårdskroen opened in 1960, and its relaxed atmosphere and idyllic location in Vigeland Park makes it a popular place to take a break from the busy city. Herregardskroen is located next to Frogner Manor and Oslo City Museum, on the left hand side from the main entrance of Vigeland Park. The restaurant is open in summer. The closing time depends on the weather - if it is nice, they close at 11 pm (the kitchen closes at 9 pm). The same goes for the end of season - if the weather is nice, the restaurant will stay open. The restaurant has a catering service and is also available for private parties all year.
