Salt Art & Music
About
SALT is a nomadic art project on Oslo’s waterfront, offering stunning views of the Opera House, Munch Museum, and Bjørvika. Spanning 5,000 square meters, it features unique wooden structures by Sami Rintala, including the Arctic Main Stage, Pyramid, Langhuset, and Naustet, creating an extraordinary venue for culture, reflection, and nightlife. SALT’s diverse program includes concerts, art projects, talks, festivals, comedy, theater, and family activities. It’s also home to 12 saunas, including Árdna, which holds up to 100 people, providing year-round relaxation. Enjoy outdoor dining all year. In summer, relax in spacious seating, while in winter, gather around campfire pans to cook your own meal over an open flame—a cozy Nordic experience. Getting here: SALT is a 5-minute walk from Oslo Central Station. Follow the harbor promenade toward Vippetangen. Use Langkaia 1 for GPS. SALT blends culture, warmth, and community for a truly unforgettable experience.
