About
The museum is built around the old Huseby rectory and shows historical aspects of the rectory, local peasants and workers from the 19th centuries. The museum has a main building , a servant quarter, a smallholding, a stabbur (Norwegian storehouse built on pillars) and a forge. Cafe. Opening hours: June to September, Saturdays and Sundays 12.00-16.00. Between 1889-1924 the farm was used to shelter poor peole in the community. The history of poverty is therefore a central topic in this museum.
