Vestre Aker Church is in neo-Gothic style, designet by architect Heinrich Ernst Schirmer. The church was inaugurated in 1855. Decoration: Stained-glass paintings from 1939/1955 by Bernhard Greve. Pulpit from around 1850 by Alexis de Chateuneuf - moved from Oslo Cathedral. Figures by Christopher Borch on the pulpit. Outside the church: The sculpture The Good Shepherd by Gustav Vigeland.
