The school is located at a 125 acre large island, between Risor and Tvedestrand. The island offers great swimming areas, sand volley court, football court, great walking paths and a beautiful scenery. From June until the middle of August, festivals, camps etc are being held on the island, and the first week of July every year, thousands of youth come to the island for the Skjaergards Music & Mission Festival - the island's largest event during the summer. The school has a hall of residence that can accommodate 300 people, and the camp areas can accommodate about 2000 people in tents or caravans. We rent out rowing boat, canoe and kayak for our guests. We accept large groups, preferably of 150 participants or more. If these groups do not make use of the entire hall of residence, we can accept smaller groups in addition to the main group.
