Rjukan and Tinn Guideservice arranges guided tour along the famous Saboteur trail, which is the way the world-famous Norwegian Resistance used during the Second World War to get from the Hardangervidda mountain plain and down the steep gorge to Vemork to blow up the heavy water factory. The trail is 8 km long, and takes about 3 hours. This tour does not included crossing of the gorge. Transportation: From Oslo: there are buses going from Oslo to Rjukan several times a day. Take the local bus from the town centre to Vaer. Please notise, that this local bus has few departures. With private car, follow E18 towards Drammen - then follow E134 to Kongsberg and RV37 to Rjukan. Drive west through the centre of Rjukan and follow the road to Vaer, and turn left on the sign to Norsk industriarbeidermuseum (The Norwegian Industrial Workers' Museum). During the summerseason, there will be public transport from the parking lot and up to Rjukan Fjellstue, where the guided tour start. Accommodation: In the town centre we can offer guesthouse, hotel and cabins. All to a reasonable price. From each and one, there is only 5 km to the meating point for the guided tour.
