Located in the historic bishop’s residence, Bifrons offers a high-quality dining experience, complete with a view to the Nidaros Cathedral. We offer 3-, 5-, or 7-course meals, in addition to an a la carte menu; all at a price that won’t break the bank. Our cuisine is rooted in traditional Norwegian culinary practices, emphasizing fresh, local produce from Trøndelag. We offer an extensive and exciting wine list, offering both traditional wines and more experimental nature wines. Bifrons is suited for both casual and more formal dining experiences. Indoors, diners can appreciate the historic charm of the “Bishop’s residence” from 1853, which also houses local art from the Trondheim art association. Outdoors, in our garden, guests can enjoy a more casual experience. Bifrons is available for lunch and dinner, making it suitable for intimate date nights or larger gatherings.
