Park Astronomiczny Muzeum Mikolaja Kopernika

Astronomical Park, which had been built between 2013 and 2015, as an expansion of a former museum observatory. The park is located on the 47-meter-high hill (the so-called "Crane Mountain", pol. Góra Żurawia), about 1,5 km south-west of Frombork, and incorporates reception buildings, classroom, workshops with dedicated library, and six pavilions with antique and contemporary instruments for observing the sky. The Astronomical Park is mainly used for educational purposes- popularizatrion of Nicolaus Copernicus and his achievements, astronomy and its historical development, with and emphasis put on observation tools. Visitors fo the Astronomical Park have an opportunity to exprerience methods of observation of celestial bodies, used over time from the sixteenth century to present day. Exhibits show in the Park- astronomical instruments- are "alive", you can use them all and try observing the sky in the same way that Copernicus and his successors did.
