About

A gorgeous 16th century basement, with original vaulted ceilings and brickwork, where locals meet to talk over beers and drinks and shake their booties til dawn. People of all ages and types can be found here - younger and older, straight and LBGT, Polish and multinational, introverts and extroverts, and NO ONE feels out of place. A wonderful place for people watching and people meeting. Gorgeous summer beer garden with grape vines on the canal. Live Jazz Wednesdays and fantastic DJs til the wee morning Friday and Saturday The astronomer Johann Hevelius brewed and stored his beer in this very basement! He's also used the roof as his observatory.
