In the Old Cemetery is the grave of Colonel Francesco Nullo, an Italian volunteer who died in the January Uprising in 1863. In the cemetery there are also graves of well-deserved residents of the city. There are also plaques and monuments commemorating the inhabitants of Olkusz who died during wars and national uprisings.
