About
The village of Michniow is a symbol of Polish martyrology during WWII, when it was pacified and completely burned down by German troops. There's a large museum documenting that. But on the outskirts of the village, in the woods there's a small monument to the foresters who helped Polish partisans active in this forests, and were killed for that.
