About

The Museum has been functioning since 1998, but the recent modernization has made visiting really comfortable. The permanent exhibition The City: Technosensitivity is the first such a broad story in Poland about the development of engineering and its impact on the city and the lives of its residents. The changes that took place in cities over the ages have had a direct impact on the lives of their residents. It is a story from the antiquity to the modern times that will be of interest to more than just the fans of inventions, engineering, technology, or science. On three thousand square meters, there are 600 technological artifacts, including unique exhibits. The exhibition’s narrative is supplemented with replicas, models, audiovisual materials, and photos. The LAB Zone allows you to do experiments on your own. The exhibition has an annex in the form of a display of historic railcars, including the first Polish tram: the beautiful type C gasoline engine railcar number 260.
