About
Kalenica is one of the highest peaks in Gory Sowie (Owl Mountains). Forest on eastern slopes is protected in established in 1962 nature reserve "Bukowa Kalenica" (Beech Kalenica) - the highest spot for beech forest in Gory Sowie. Also on top of Kalenica there's a lookout tower, with great views over eastern part of Sudetes Mountains.
