Welcome to our house. It took us a long time to find it. We wanted a house with a history, space, in a beautiful location and with a large garden - a house with a soul. Finally, in the region of Lower Silesia, we discovered Gruszów Castle (Birkholz). It was love at first sight. Standing in the neglected front garden, looking at the run-down building, we knew we had found our special place on earth. The renovations took 9 long years, not only due to the poor structural condition. We wanted the interiors to be restored with a lot of love for detail. Chandeliers and wallpapers from France and the Netherlands, tiles and ceramics from Italy - Everything was was chosen with care. After all, it was to become our home. The castle has thirteen stylishly furnished guest rooms with bathrooms, so that guests can feel transported back to another era; A time when hectic was uncommon and socialising was the most popular form of entertainment. Gruszów Castle is a place to stay with graceful and inviting rooms and a family atmosphere where you enjoy the kind of peace and quiet that is palpable. At the same time its location is ideal for trips to the historically famous places of the beautiful Lower Silesia.
