In Japan it is said that the most beautiful flower is the sakura flower, or simply the cherry, and that the best man is the samurai. If one were to look at Japanese cuisine however, it can be said without a doubt that the tastiest and most renowned display of culinary art in this country is sushi. Our first restaurant Izumi sushi, which we have been running with passion since 2006, is located on ul. Mokotowska 17 on plac Zbawiciela in Warsaw. Izumi means water spring in Japanese; that which gives life to something new. This character is written with two ideograms, which symbolize white water, bubbling and gushing forth from its source. We chose this name, because we wish to introduce real and truly delicious sushi on Polish soil; sushi, which by its taste allows our Guests to discover and understand the beauty blooming in the simplicity of the Japanese kitchen.
