The University of Warsaw Library (BUW) is a hub of scholarly activity situated at Ul. Dobra 56/66 in the heart of Warsaw. Open daily from 7:00 am until 1:00 am the following morning, the library offers 24‑hour access for students, researchers, and the broader public. Its facilities include spacious reading rooms, a dedicated digital kiosk, and a “Kindle‑Lab” where visitors can explore digital collections. BUW’s extensive collections touch on history, literature, science, and the humanities, supported by online resources such as the UW Digital Library Crispa, interlibrary loan services, and a comprehensive card catalog. With a friendly help desk and multilingual staff, the library is a welcoming space for all who seek knowledge. The library is part of the University of Warsaw’s academic ecosystem, providing free access to institutional members while offering a modest registration fee of 20 PLN for non‑members. Services such as computer access, printing, photocopying, and training workshops are available to support research and study.
