Many people say this tiny hut located well off the main street hosts one of the best restaurants in Zakopane. It's one of very few places where locals come to eat. Having owned a flat in Zakopane for a year and having visited most of the town's restaurants, my conclusion is: Avoid the most advertised restaurants in Krupowki or rather stay away from ALL of the street's forty-something eating places, because they are nothing but a Polish version of fast food, a chain operated by a couple of owners, serving prefab food prepared at factories owned by the same people. Kolibecka is a rare exception.
