Le Chalet is not just any village roadside restaurant or highlander-style inn. Located in Murzasilchle, a village outside of Zakopane, the restaurant is run by a Polish-Italian couple in a Polish highlander-style house with Italian elements. Fortunately, the cuisine served at Le Chalet is decidedly Italian-Polish, and not the other way round (some even hail it the best Italian restaurant in Poland). Dishes are on the classy side, made with top quality ingredients, accompanied by fine wines. The restaurant is quiet and cosy, marked by subtle elegance in combination with a homelike atmosphere.
