Zabi Dwor Eatery
About
The name "Żabi Dwór" has its history. The house at Strążyska was owned by Captain Wagner before the war, which was hosted by Józef Piłsudski one summer evening, and it was the Headmaster who gave the name "Żabi Dwór" from the constant croaking of frogs nesting in the surrounding marshy wetlands. During World War II in "Żabim Dworze" was the point of departure of Polish soldiers who were carrying Tatra routes through famous couriers in Hungary and later in front of France. In 1947 in the "Żabim Dworze" there was a grocer of peasant self-help. Partisans of "Fire" bored and waiting for the orders of Major Kurasia in the restaurant "Roma" confiscated the goods for their own needs by writing a confirmation of seizure.
