Piwnica pod SW. Kazimierz is a family restaurant in the heart of Zamość. It is surrounded by the breathtaking historical scenery of the Old Town, which is a refleciton of the golden age of renaissance visions about, beauty, art and science, humanity, tradition and tolerance. Zamosc is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. We specialized in regional cuisine (Roztocze and Zamość), as well as typical Polish cuisine. Rotocze region is famous for clear rivers and forests. We source our ingredients from local suppliers in order to prepare the highest quality dishes. Our regional dishes are : dumplings, onion rolls with butter (cebularzyki), fried soda pancakes (sodziaki),chops made with buckwheat, patatos and cottage cheese ( golasy), patato cakes with forest mushroom souce made of grated raw potatos and white cheese (tarciuch) and local trout. Our wines are sourced from local winnery. We also make delicious pizza.
