The first records about the church date of the 13th century. In 1845 Dorota de Talleyrand-Perigord, the duchess of Dino decided to rebuild the church. She introduced several changes by architects L. von Schatzberg. In the church there are three tombs of Zagan nobles: Dorotea de Talleyrand-Perigord, her son Ludwik Napoleon de Talleyrand-Perigord, Prince of Valencay,
