We have been creating sparkling wines, wines and spirits since 1937. The galleries of Caves São Domingos built by founder of the company, Elpídio Martins Semedo 87 years ago, hold more than two million bottles of sparkling wine. The São Domingos Cellars own and control more than 100 hectares of vineyards in Bairrada. In all installed vineyards the practice of "Integrated Protection" is used, according to a rigorous standard in the preservation of nature, which reflects our concern with the environment, biodiversity and its conservation. The wine tourism has attracted thousands of tourists for the beauty and uniqueness of the galleries excavated in the rock. Tasting rooms, a museum and a wine store complement the visit to this remarkable place of Bairrada references. Recently we created a Pedagogical Vineyard where tourists can observe and learn about 58 red and white grape varieties, not only from Bairrada but from different wine regions in the world.
