Exclusive villa-hotel with only two suites, breakfast and free bar included in any rate. With a beautiful garden, a big outdoors heated-pool and scenic country views it is organised with your comfort in mind. It provides you a relaxing holiday, while experiencing the portuguese hospitality and culture. With maximum 4 guests in the property at any one time, you will always find a quiete environment. Each suite includes a large bedroom with king size bed (can be transformed into twin room at request), a full bathroom with large shower or bathtub, a private living room and a dedicated garden or balcony. With daily cleaning, all rates include buffet/english breakfast and free bar including wine, spirits and soft drinks. The suites are equipped with TV, safe, minibar, coffee and tea facilities, Rituals amenities, bath robes, towels and pool towels. Tranquil and located in the countryside surrounded by nature, with amazing views and impressive sunsets we are not isolated. There are other properties nearby and Ferreiras and Albufeira are just a short drive away. The Villa is a place to unwind, either by reading your book by the pool or enjoying the sunset in your private garden terrace with a glass of Port. Just 9 km north of Albufeira in central Algarve, 46 km from Faro airport (35 minutes) and 244 km from Lisbon airport (2 hours) we are easy to reach, and a good location for day trips around Algarve. The area is also ideal for walks, being the rural paths around the Villa which are full of life and where you can enjoy the delicate smell of the rosemary and lavanda, the nearby Paderne Castle with its beautiful ancient bridge and mill or many of the other beautiful tracks we can recommend. At request, we can prepare a picknick basket so you can fully enjoy your day out. Some guests, prefer to just relax by the pool and the gardens, ordering extra meals with us. The food is prepared as much as possible with the Villa's production and locally sourced ingredients. Taxi services can be organised upon request. You also have the opportunity to book your very own private yoga class. Many people are curious about yoga and never had the opportunity to experience its benefits, if that is your case this is a great place to do it. Villa Tranberg is hosted by Gabriela and Håkon Tranberg. Gabriela is Portuguese and a retired international Banker. Håkon is Norwegian and a semi-retired business lawyer. Familiar with the stress of busy professional lives they built this Villa to provide their guest a retreat space to unwind and recharge. In parallel to her executive career Gabriela has been a yoga and meditation teacher for 15 years and trained as a chef, and Håkon is a passionate gardener and wine enthusiast. Although Villa Tranberg is a private house, you will find the privacy and independence you will expect in a hotel.
