Casa do Paúl is located in the village of Espiunca, in the municipality of Arouca.The building was rehabilitated based upon the sustainable construction principles, using local materials and aiming for energy efficiency, together with environmental comfort. The original facades, in a local stone – xystus – were preserved, adding to the singularity of the building.The house comprises three double rooms with private bathroom and one independent studio, with a bathroom each, and is fully equipped for a pleasant and relaxing stay. It is particularly well placed for people wishing to explore the potentialities of the region, in special the river and its surroundings.
