The origins of Restaurante Vidal date back to the early 60s when Vidal Dias Ferreira and Maria do Carmo Silva decided to follow their dream of having their own place. From humble beginnings, the founders already had a history of hard and diverse work, but, with a lot of effort and personal sacrifice, they managed to start what is today a gastronomic reference. What began as a simple tavern, where wine was sold to local workers, gave way to a restaurant and, to this day, the evolution has been constant. The specialty is Bairrada’s suckling pig pig (Leitão assado da Bairrada), however, our offer includes equally traditional and delicious alternatives.
