The Bodegão Group was founded in 1992 and originated from Nosso Café - Restaurant & Brewery in Póvoa de Varzim. In 1994 with the creation of the D. António room in Nosso Café, the Bodegão concept emerged. The first Bodegão restaurant appeared in 2000 in Póvoa. In 2003 the Bodegão Group takes on the challenge of bringing traditional food to the malls and opens Bodegão at Estação Viana Shopping, followed by Arrábida Shopping, Mar Shopping, Braga Parque, Guimarães Shopping , Norte Shopping, Colombo Lisboa, Gaia Shopping, Parque Nascente. The Bodegão Group also includes 505 Restaurant and Antonelli Ristorante, both in Póvoa de Varzim, Steaks at Viana Shopping Station, Seafood & Fish at Mar Shopping Matosinhos and Steak & Beer House at Norte Shopping.
