Praça 16, or Praça as fondly put by friends, is more than just a bar. We present ourselves as a new venue that stems from the will to boost the historical centre of Bragança, personifying a maelstrom of culture, art and animation at the heart of Praça da Sé - 16. Walls draped in stories, smiles and whispers, which once welcomed iconic Bragança's nightlife reference spots such as El Dorado or Klaustrus, now have a retro and kitsch aesthetic which seek to provide a casual, urban and relaxed environment. The monthly events at Praça 16 will reflect its eclectic, hybrid and transversal ethos. Featuring concerts and DJ sets ranging from Jazz to Rock or World Music, to the forefront of Electronic, exhibitions, live performances, films, talks and other initiatives that push forward the idea from the project genesis: create a fun space that yields the exploration and integration of different artistic expressions and respond to the wishes and desires of a heterogeneous audience. While listening to a vinyl record at Praça, you can enjoy, rooting from a cool laid-back chat, several drinks from our diversified offer, including quality references such as gin, whisky, Portuguese wines, champagne sangria and classic cocktails like Margarita or Alexander.
